Decode crops ahead of time
Normally each group decodes as you reach it. Precomputing does that work
up front instead: worth it if crops are slow to appear, or if you would
rather wait once and then move through without any pause.
Tune candidates
Changes are previewed before they touch the review. How many separate files a box must appear in. Several frames of one clip count once.
Instant — this only filters groups already found.
Clustering
Decides which detections become candidates. Changing these regroups everything.
Only detections MegaDetector scored in this range are considered.
Box size as a share of the frame. A repeated rock or branch is usually small.
How much two boxes must overlap to count as the same spot.
Compare an animal box against a person or vehicle box, not only its own class.
